Each holiday season, thousands of children whose families applied to The Salvation Army for Christmas assistance are recipients of Angel Tree gifts. For the fourth consecutive year, Broad Reach Retail Partners sponsored a central Maryland family of three Angels: 2 girls and 1 boy, ages 9, 4 and 11 months. “While we have sponsored a family of three children before, this was Broad Reach’s first year to sponsor a family with an infant,” stated Maria Malzone the company’s organizer, who added, “For the infant, we focused on providing essential supplies like diapers and wipes, which are a costly necessity. Of course, we couldn’t resist to also include a few outfits and toys for the baby.”

The Social Services program of The Salvation Army coordinates the Angel Tree application process where the children’s clothing sizes and special needs are determined. Click here to Find Your Local Salvation Army Location.

Broad Reach Founding Partner and CEO Nate Tower added, “Every year the entire team is grateful to have the opportunity to share with those less fortunate in our community. Through The Salvation Army Angel Tree program, we can help to provide gifts of much-needed winter clothing, toys and supplies to children who might not otherwise have anything for Christmas.”
